Tube Bending
Our inventory of bend tooling and equipment at Ikaros Hydrotechink. We bend a variety of steel,
stainless steel, aluminum, and alloy tubes. The variety of equipment available on the shop floor allows
us to manufacture components and assemblies in a range of production volumes. CNC bending
equipment can accommodate multiple radii for extremely efficient bending of high-volume orders. We
specialize in the precision bending of thin wall tubing, tight radii and close tangent bends. In-house
fixturing and specialized clamps provide the ability to perform multiple bends in close proximity to one
another, allowing us to create a myriad of geometries.
Many forming and fabrications services are available to complement our tube bending capabilities.
These services include a variety of end forming capabilities, machining, brazing, and welding. All work is
done to applicable industries standards.
Forming Fabricating Services
At Ikaros Hydrotechink, we have been providing tube bending as well as forming and fabrication of bent
tube assemblies. As a leading provider of parts and assemblies for the aviation and transportation
industries, we have developed services that add value to the manufacturing process.
Fabrication abilities include tube bending, end forming, brazing, and welding of a variety of materials.
Tube ends can be flared, flattened, swaged, beaded, or formed with a Victaulic groove. Properly forming
the ends of the tube is an essential part to ensuring optimal performance of the assembly. We are
capable of fabricating assemblies from a variety of standard metals including steel, stainless steel,
aluminum, and brass.
Inspection and testing capabilities include CMM equipment. If additional finishing and fabrication work
is needed, trusted outside sources can be contracted, further simplifying customers's supply chain.

Tubing Manipulation Software allows us maximum flexibility in the design of any tube and tube
assembly and generates all tube data for downloading to the CMC mandrel drawn tube benders in our
facility. We can also import your tube designs to extract the data from your files for tube bending at our
facility.
We can translate most CAD formats including but not limited to: DWG ,DXF , IGES, STP., Parasolid
Our Baces CMM Faro arm allows us the ability to do precision measuring and surface mapping for
quality and reverse engineering in our R&D department.
